Kindness Week Wrap-Up

Kindness Week was a BIG hit! Our children performed many acts of kindness and had fun while doing it! Many of our students also participated in “Be Kind Week Art” projects, lead by our art teacher Mrs. Jaquith. Check out our gallery! (Click on an image below to view it larger.)

  • In first grade, Ms. Carnes’s class drew portraits and wrote “I am kind”.
  • Our third and fourth graders illustrated examples of “Bee Kind”.
  • Our fifth graders illustrated quotes about kindness.
  • Also, Ms. Acosta’s class decorated their door!

Kindness Week!

Kindness Week is underway at Dr. N. E. Roberts! During the week of February 22nd, 2021, we are celebrating being kind to others by dressing up and performing acts of kindness. Our dress-up days this week include:

  • Monday – Be a superhero to defeat childhood cancer (wear superhero shirt, school bottoms)
  • Tuesday – We LOVE kindness (wear pink, red or burgundy shirt)
  • Wednesday – You’re never too old to be kind (dress like a senior citizen)
  • Thursday – Peace, Love and Kindness (wear a tie dye shirt)
  • Friday – Put cancer to bed (wear pajamas)

We are also collecting donations for Hero Squad to fight blood cancer. Donations can be made to our school by clicking here! Donations will be accepted until Friday, March 5th. Please help us reach our goal of collecting $2,021!
